Crockpot Italian Chicken

This is my go to for comfort food. It is so uncomplicated but is always a big crowd pleaser!

Crockpot Italian Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breast frozen
4 Tbl butter
1 pkg dry Italian dressing mix
2 (10 3/4oz.) cans cream of chicken soup
1 (8oz) cream cheese (I use Philly Light)

rice, biscuits or mashed potatoes for serving

Grease crockpot
Put chicken, frozen in crockpot
Add butter, Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup and cream cheese
Cook on high for 4 hours OR low for 6 hours, stirring occasionally
When chicken is done either shred or leave in big chunks
Serve over rice, biscuits or mashed potatoes
