Boston Cream Pie

This was my birthday cake this year.  It turned out so good!

Boston Cream Pie

1 yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sour cream
1 box vanilla instant pudding

Mix all ingredients until well combined
Place 1 cup mixture into a well greased 8 inch round cake pan
Note: This will make very thin layers of cake.
There will be left over batter.
Bake 10 minutes and cool
Remove cake to wire rack and repeat three times
Cool completely

1 large box cook and serve vanilla pudding

Follow package instructions and cool completely

Assemble cake by layering cake and pudding
Refrigerate until ready to serve

3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup heavy cream

Place chips and cream in microwave safe bowl
Microwave for 30-60 seconds
Wisk for a few minutes until smooth
Pour ganache over the top of the cake
